I don't own any flats, actually. I have some awesome Earth shoes with arch support but they're not dressy enough to wear with an actual dress (like chaco's! j/k). I had a pair of flats for a while that were black suede with an inch of black glitter around the top. simple pretty and casual enough and dressy enough. but after a year out here i discovered them one day completely covered in a fuzzy gray fungus - not kidding - totally gross (are you kidding me!?!).
so i'm on the search. and i haven't found any yet. though what keeps me searching is this picture by amanda soule:
a long time ago I saw this picture on her blog. which i read every morning (and inspires me daily - must check it out if you never have). and i think this picture is the reason i haven't found the perfect shoe. i want THIS shoe. i want Amanda's shoes! but, you know, i'll take them in most any color, they don't HAVE to be yellow, just something REALLY fun! and i don't want to pay more than $12 for them. ..no wonder i'm still wearing Earth shoes and Chaco's with skirts these days.

oh i love those shoes! why are they so challenging to come across. i've threatened at times to start my own shoe line... shoes don't like me. good luck!
I bet if you email her about them, she will know where to get them...
I thought of you when I was at Baylor for that interview because on interview day, one of the girls was wearing these shoes, only in black. made me laugh to myself. maybe because i actually recognized them!
