Landon's home!!

Welp, Tuesday night my boys came home to me! What a lonely week alone when i'm still pretty new to town here and don't yet have friends, family or fun places to pursue when i am alone. But i got a lot of work done (feel like i'm saying this a lot lately), and went to sleep at decent hours. Mostly, i just missed Landon (and even Duvick!).

landon arrived home tuesday with a cooler full of dead birds (free-range meat!). Duvick's winter coat was coming in quickly while he was in south dakota and he just looks so handsome now! It was wonderful to hear all about the McBrayer men and their time together with their roots. it was a trip complete with shootin' ditch cougars (stray cats), eating rocky mountain oysters (bull testicles), SD cheese wheels, and other things i probably am better off not to know. How precious it is for those men to get together and spend the special time with each other doing manly stuff enjoying their time together.

Next week i am flying to Minneapolis with ACSI and will be leading worship for some school directors at an early education conference there. I am so honored and excited to be doing this - i haven't lead worship in quite awhile. I've really enjoyed putting these songs together and getting a chance to sing more often - "i'm working!" I'm also looking forward to seeing some great friends from work that i haven't seen since i left in the summer.
